Nato all'incrocio tra musica, arti visive e il mondo del cinema, questo vibrante nuovo programma del produttore Robert Townson riunisce dieci compositori di fama internazionale in composizioni in prima mondiale. Pictures at an Exhibition: The Paintings of Bob Peak è ispirato al concetto senza tempo di una delle opere più grandi di Mussorgsky e prende vita grazie alla Los Angeles Film Orchestra, sotto la bacchetta del leggendario direttore Leonard Slatkin. Ognuno dei dieci nuovi movimenti è ispirato a un'opera unica dell'illustratore americano Bob Peak (1927–1992), noto per i suoi poster per film tra cui West Side Story, Superman, Apocalypse Now e i film originali di Star Trek, ma anche artista prolifico di commissioni per la rivista Time, le Olimpiadi e innumerevoli altri.
